Outdoor Decor: Homemade Theater

Here is the plan for the floor of the movie theater: thrift store pillows on top of beautiful rugs.  Aisles will be indicated with mason jars covered in yellow tissue paper.

We are planning to convert my friend's parking space, separated by a fence from her backyard, into our movie theater.  It is approximately 15'x26'.  Hopefully this will suit our purposes.  I am mostly concerned that visibility will be poorer nearer to the sides of the enclosure for viewing the movie.  But I think it will be fine.

I once bought a decorating program for $90 because I was doing some home staging at the time.  I took a look at the program once I bought it, and haven't used it since.  The reason being, I don't do any design work that requires exact measurements.  I've been an eyeballer since childhood, and since I work with decorations more than anything, this works out just fine.  However, I like to draw out what I'm planning ahead of time so that it's easy to share my ideas with others.  And I use Microsoft Paint!

The tables will be for goodies, and "proj." stands for projector, which we will be renting from our old university.  The yard will get a few mason jars too, but the real decorating effort will be behind the fence.  I can't take credit for the plan: that's all my friend.  However, I can take credit for this intricate diagram!
