Remember Spring?

I know that my mind should be on Christmas... but remember the delightful palette that signals the beginning of new life?  Somehow my mood is more in line with this than with all the glitz and glamor of the holidays.  Probably because I haven't been watching TV or shopping very much... this year, I feel like my thoughts are relatively untainted by holiday advertising.  I have been free to plan and attend a comfortable number of social events, make quaint Christmas presents for friends, and take off time from work just because I feel like it.

Life to me right now is something that is constantly renewing itself, reminding me of the refreshing palette of Spring.
