Wrestlemania Potato Carving

So, I carve wrestler's heads out of potatoes for fun on the weekend.

Wrestlemania XXX happened last weekend.  This means a bunch of guys "beat up" some other guys.  Everyone has muscles and gets sweaty.  That's pretty much it.

But really, it's a good time when you get together with a bunch of friends, eat unhealthy food, yell at the television, and bet on the winners of the matches for homemade prizes.  That's what these dudes are: bingo prizes.

Instructions:

1. I basically just carved the faces out of the potatoes with a carving knife.  Anything I wanted to paint (eyes, hair, mouth) I left alone.  The untouched skins were dry enough to take the acrylic paint.

2. The "hair" is strips of garbage bag, which look a lot like greasy black hair.  I glued them onto the painted skin with a hot glue gun.

3. I chopped off a bit of the bottom of the potatoes so that they would sit properly, and placed them on black circles of paper.  That's it!

P.s. the guys below are a team called "the Shield."  They are, left to right: Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins.  The second picture is them on WWE.
