Natural Table Runner

One thing I'm doing to perk myself up, nearing the end of February, is to work on decorating ideas for my new apartment using as many flowers as possible!  Flowers are always a refreshing visual to add to your decor when winter white is getting overwhelming.

I found several hemp place mats at the thrift store.  I am stitching them together to make a table runner, similar to the ones in the pictures below.  Why pay $20 at Target when you could pay $2.00 at the thrift store for a similar product?

I'm going to have so much fun styling my kitchen table with this new runner!  Stay tuned for pics!
