White Walls

I'm getting sick of the apartment, cute as it is.  Maybe I should love it for who it is... but I don't.  I need some change.

I was looking at some pictures of spaces with white walls, neutral furnishings, and then pops of color in the accessories.  A pretty basic formula, but I love the combination of the old apartment and modern furnishings.  I also need to put something that is lemon yellow into my life.

Would putting fur on the cushions of an old couch be a cool or an annoying thing to do (to cover up the smudges)?
