New Fabrics

I just found a garage sale across the street from my building.  Here is what I picked up for $5.

We have, from left to right: a tablecloth, a plus-sized flowy dress that I will be relieving of one of its panels, a pillowcase that is going to become a little sleeve for the window in my kitchen, and a soft peach blanket which is draped across the back of one of my couches.  It's surprising how much of a difference a little punch of colour can make to a room.

I want some southwestern-style pillows for my living room.  Rather than wait to order some that will put me back at least $60 for two, I bought this gnarly old bag for $1 and cut off the strap.  I stuck another pillow I had lying around inside of it.  Voila!
