When you step inside, the layout of the store is very simple. I wasn't impressed by the plasticine-like appearance of many of the cakes (yes, they do those too) that were displayed around the place, but I guess that's what you get when you use fondant and leave the results sitting around, exposed, for days at a time. I was reminded of using modeling clay, or oven-bake clay when I was a child, and it's not something I like to associate with putting in my mouth.
However, the display of cupcakes within the freezer was tantalizing and fun. Orderly rows of fresh, brightly-iced treats were what I had come to see. I eventually picked a lemon-vanilla cupcake and took it home in a clean, white box of its very own.
It's presentation was very nice, but I found the icing to be much too sweet and too plentiful. The cupcake itself tasted like a birthday party from my childhood, so that was great. I would not recommend coming here for your treats.
Here is my stock-photo-esque shot of it before I ate it (it was too cute not to take a few pictures).
