Lockport, MB

My mom and I went on a little trip today to a 1950's diner along the Red River in a little town called Lockport, MB.  The diner is called the Half Moon Drive In.  That place is cute, full of fat old people from the country and sporty farm-boys with their girlfriends.  We took some pictures by the river, which was the exciting part of the trip, not necessarily the diner.

I love driving around in the country.  There were fresh produce stands along the road, and beautiful houses tucked away down long driveways through the trees.  People were walking dogs and strollers.  I even saw a very fit grandma!

It's hard to come back to the city, with its funny smells and busy traffic, after the smooth calm of the fields in the country.  But the city has its charms, too.  Mostly being fashionable clothes, nice haircuts, and job opportunities.

Majestic cloud bank.

My feet, Mom's feet.
